It is often very complicated to keep documentation up to date at the shop floor level, especially when a version is changed. Documentation has to be reprinted and distributed to the appropriate shifts. An error in dissemination on the shop floor can have consequences for safety and quality.
What is the Astn’go Shift Instructions extension?
Even though digitalizing the workshop means, first and foremost, getting rid of paper. It also has an impact on safety and quality. Indeed, a production carried-out with a non-conforming operating procedure or plan will undoubtedly lead to customer nonconformity and therefore to: a loss of productivity, and a deterioration of the company’s image.
For each production, Astn’go distributes contextual documentation on the equipment terminal. Thus, during the whole WO, the operator has the correct operating procedure or the latest version of the reference plan in order to be guided as closely as possible to his machine.
