What do I need to start with Astn’go ?
The Astn’go solution allows you to quickly implement production monitoring on your equipment.
What happens when you subscribe ?
When you subscribe to Astn’go here is what happens :
- Automatically, a tenant is created in the cloud.
- In a few minutes, you can access your private Astn’go application and start its configuration.
- Our teams ship the Astn’go IIoT to you, your 30 day trial starts 5 days after the shipping date.
- An Astn’go consultant will contact you to help you get started.
- You receive the Astn’go IIoT, you connect it to the Internet (Ethernet or WiFi) and plug in the signal(s) of your machine.
- You use Astn’go, on the way to operational excellence.
- After 30 days, if you do not terminate your trial, we ship IIoT for the remaining machines in your subscription (if any).
As soon as you subscribe, you will have access to video tutorials and expert articles explaining how to configure and use the solution. These elements will be complementary to the support of our consultant, but they will allow you to be completely autonomous if you wish.

Setting up your solution with the help of articles and videos
An guidance throughout the implementation is planned to carry out the necessary setting up on the various elements allowing you flexibility and adaptation in all the circumstances.
Among the elements that can be configured, you must first have for each machine :
- The list of downtime reasons allowing the operator to indicate the reason for the downtime of his means of production.
- Scrap reasons, so that the operator can indicate the nature of the scrap he is reporting.
- The calendar to define the opening and closing periods of the means of production.
- The desired operating mode for each connected equipment (collected signal or signals, type of processing).
Technical data can be useful at the time of configuration unless you import them into Astn’go with WO operations. These data, linked to the production equipment, to the produced reference or to the WO operation are :
- Standard cycle time or maximum speed
- Number of units per cycle
All these elements will be discussed with you during the various training sessions provided in your subscription.
Import of your WO operations
An import form is available to allow you to integrate your operations and references with key properties (production unit, standard cycle time, expected quantity…) and your own properties (specific to you).
The form will allow you to import the file automatically or manually.
Wiring the IIoT module to your machines
The wiring work includes powering the module and retrieving the signals.
The signals to be recovered from the machine depend on the operating mode you wish to set up. Astn’go offers several operating modes listed by field of activity and type of machine.
Each machine can have a different behavior.
When the wiring is complete, you need to associate the IIoT with the machine in Astn’go.
At this time, you can start tracking the status of your machine and count the units made. Your production is monitored, it is under control.
Material
On the hardware side, operators must have access to Astn’go from a screen (laptop, tablet…).
You can use hardware that you already have at your disposal or consult the catalog of material that we offer.
To ensure that the operator is able to enter data correctly on Astn’go and that this entry is as simple as possible, it is important to pay particular attention to the ergonomics of the workstation to enable the operator to enter data unhindered.
